Union Strong; Willamette Wake-Up

This week, Union Strong (NYS AFL-CIO) talks with a flight attendant who’s lost co-workers to the COVID-19 pandemic and says “the main message is don't fly right now.” And on the labor segment of Willamette Wake-Up, Andrea Haverkamp of the Coalition of Graduate Employees at Oregon State University explains why grad students are workers: “We are researchers. We are teachers. We develop courses. We are the real lifeblood of the modern university system.”
