The annual Great Labor Arts Exchange is being held this year at the Labor Notes conference, billed as “the biggest gathering out there of grassroots union activists, worker center leaders, and all-around troublemakers,” which runs through Sunday here in Chicago, Illinois. We’ve got music today from Thursday night's Arts Exchange session.
On today’s show, we also visit with Gladys Igbo, a nurse from St Paul, Minnesota, Allen Rouse, a longshoreman from Charleston, South Carolina, and Chantal Ide and Frederic Collin, Canadian unionists from Montreal.
